The letter
If you leave your email, it is only so we can send occasional letters: simpler routines, and first word when a tool is ready. You can leave whenever you like. We do not sell addresses, and we do not send them to advertisers.
The list is kept in Kit, which sends the letter. The form on this site subscribes you there directly. Every letter has a one-click way out.
The shop
Checkout and the download are handled by Gumroad. Their terms cover payment, tax, and the library where your file lives. Nothing is shipped. A purchase is a digital file you print or write on, for your own use and your own business. Please don’t resell or share the files.
Refunds
Digital files are generally final once downloaded. If a file is damaged, missing, or not as described, write to hello@thelinfold.com within 14 days of purchase and we’ll send a working replacement or a refund through Gumroad.
Affiliates
The Linfold participates in affiliate programs, including travel partner programs through Travelpayouts. Some links on our pages, including links that Travelpayouts Drive may add automatically to travel content, can earn us a commission when you book or buy through them. Prices and terms are set by the seller, not by us. Where a page contains monetized links, it says so before the recommendations. We do not take payment for placement, and we do not invent reviews.
Photography and images
The images on The Linfold come from a mix of sources: original photography, licensed imagery, design tools, and visuals created with the help of AI. AI may be used at any stage, from early concepts to creating, editing, combining or retouching an image. We direct, select, arrange, crop, color-adjust, brand and edit what you see. Licensed images are used under the terms of their licenses.
Our AI-created lifestyle images are illustrations. They set the mood for an idea and aren’t documentary photographs of a real person, place, product or event unless we say so. When we show a specific product you can buy, we’ll identify it or use imagery sourced for that product. Portraits of our founder are digitally created from Shane’s own photographs.
We keep internal records for our original images, including the creative direction, any reference material, revisions, intended use and final files.
Please don’t download, copy, resell or redistribute our original images, or use them to train AI models, without written permission. Sharing a link to our pages or pinning our pins to Pinterest is always welcome. For permission requests, write to hello@thelinfold.com.
What we keep
The name, the words, the images and the tools belong to The Linfold. Please don’t copy a product and sell it as your own. Quoting a line, with credit, is welcome.
